I'm trying to add a table in a specific board above where it has the sub board, but I'm not sure how to do it I want it between the navigation tree and the sub board and have the rules for that board (advertisements), but I don't know where I would put the code. dragonridersofberk.boards.net/

Are you looking to add an actual table (via <table> or just a container with your rules? If you need just a container to list your rules for that board, you can use the General Notices plugin to achieve that. If you want to go that route, just do the following: - Install the plugin
- Edit the plugin's settings
- Go to the Settings tab (you can skip the Dates tab as you won't need it for this)
- Set the following in the Settings tab:
- Container: Container
- Hide: No
- Title Bar Display: (Use Custom Title)
- Custom Title Bar: Rules for this board (or however you want to word it)
- Date Placement: No Date
- Multiple Events: (you can leave this blank or set it to any of the options - as this option only looks at dates on the Dates tab - so it won't apply for this)
- No Event Today: (this is where you would list your rules. HTML is allowed here, so you can style it how you want it to look)
- Go to Admin > Structure > Headers & Footers
- Click on the board's name that you want this to show up in.
- In the Header section, paste this in: <div class="msg-gn"></div> and Save.
Again, this is just an option - there are probably other options out there. Keep in mind that a "table" is typically for organizing data (think of a spreadsheet) - which, imho, really isn't suitable for listing rules. That's why I had asked.

Thanks for the response! That is kind of what I'm looking for, but I think the issue is that with my custom theme everything is kind of contained together, and the header is showing up at the very top of the page rather than under the banner, and I'm not sure how to get the container where I want it for just a specific board.

Tiffamu, I see the header variable is above your banner code in your layout template. You can move the $[header] variable below your banner code (line 45) and it should resolve your issue. This section can be accessed through your admin panel > themes > layout template > forum wrapper.

Tiffamu, I'm guessing the plugin wasn't suitable for what you needed. Sorry about that - just thought it would be quicker than coding it all in yourself. Glad you got it working though.

LynxI like the plugin, my issue was just that the header apparently wasn't in a good place. Thanks for the help though!

LynxI like the plugin, my issue was just that the header apparently wasn't in a good place. Thanks for the help though! Just as an FYI - the plugin does not create any kind of header - it only creates a container that has a title bar and content text, nothing more. The header issue was a separate entity as @kelvin stated above.
