~Thank you! MSG is spot on, but just to expand on why a little. PHP, in order to execute, needs to be interpreted by the PHP engine (the interpreter). Browsers themselves do not understand PHP code. Due to this, PHP is considered a server-side language or backend technology. The terms are relatively synonymous with each other. To execute user-supplied PHP code on your forum, ProBoards would have to expose that resource in some manner. They would effectively have to execute that script off the server while serving up your forum. This would inadvertently grant you access to their resources. This poses a significant security breach.
