I wanted to take on subway to see if I could do a DIY sub. Sad to say I failed. Couldn't find a loaf that was thin enough, no I'm no bread maker but this was my best shot. On the side you peeps should try this dressing its surprised me and taste a lot like their oil and vinegar which I love.

Why do you think you failed? It looks like a decent sandwich.

Ken, the heel of that loaf looks about right but if you think the thick crown makes the sandwich too 'bready', you could slice about 3/4" away from the bottom of the crown. Cut the unused center section into cubes and toast them in the oven for croutons you can use in your soups or salads. Or just feed that portion of the bread to the birds.

Can I throw the left over at Scott? I suppose you could but if Scott still has any axes from last Thursday handy, throwing things at each other might not be a good idea on your part. Then again, if he returns fire from Friday's arsenal, you could just open wide and try to catch it with your teeth. Yum!

Forget arranging them into sandwich form, just stuff/pour the ingredients into your mouth one by one and then chew them all at once. Like a man.
