Hello again! I'm learning more and more about codes and post templates. Here's what I'm working on now; codepen.io/phoenixseraph/pen/JQNKJz . I'm trying to put the content, without it being opaque, right beside the picture. Right now, it's linked to the "tagbox" and appears when I hover over the tagbox. I tried to use display:inline-block on another template before, but I remembered recently that someone from PBS said it wouldn't work on PB forums anymore.

It would be best if you used the classes you gave the various components to describe what you are trying to accomplish. I'm not seeing any "content" so am terribly confused on where you are trying to go with this. Here is my "guess" of what you might be after: .borderimg {
background-image: url(http://placehold.it/150x300);
opacity: 0.5;
border: 5px solid #353535;
width: 150px;
height: 300px;
margin-top: 5px;
overflow: hidden;
}
.tagbox {
opacity: 0;
text-align: center;
font-family: Courier;
font-size: 12px;
transition: opacity 1s ease;
background-color: #353535;
width: 120px;
height: 25px;
line-height: 28px;
margin: 25px auto;
color: #f5f5f5;
}
.tagbox:hover {
opacity: 1;
}
.postinner {
position: absolute;
background-color: #e5e5e5;
color: #353535;
text-align: justify;
width: 250px;
height: 300px;
overflow: auto;
top:20px;
right:0;
}
.postmain {
background-color: #353535;
border: 5px solid #353535;
padding: 10px;
width: 400px;
height: 320px;
overflow: hidden;
position:relative;
}
position:absolute and position:relative are not native to Proboards bbcode either but I assume you'll be using the style tags plugin to add them anyway so why is display:inline-block anymore difficult?

Yes, that's what I'm trying to do! I'm not sure because I was able to use it before in some posts a couple of years ago. But I think either I forgot something or something changed because I can't get it working now.
EDIT: I appreciate you helping. When I tried to use it on my forum, it just messed up because nothing was placed properly, so I might just use tables.

When I tried to use it on my forum, it just messed up because nothing was placed properly, so I might just use tables. position:relative; and position:absolute; which is being used to position the elements are not native to Proboards. If you add them as inline styles then do a switch to preview panel then back to bbcode panel you will see that they get removed, this is a simple way to test what can work natively on proboards and what cannot work natively on proboards. For the stuff that cannot work natively on Proboards you can encode them using the style tag plugin like you did on that other thread. For stuff such as pseudo-class :hover you certainly cannot use inline styles so even if you switch to tables and get it working you would still need a way to do them. The main thing here however is you don't give up because anything worthwhile doing takes time (about 10,000 hours of deliberate and focused practice to achieve savant status). It takes a special obsessive passion (which in recent years I've somewhat lost) to get good at anything. I remember the first computer I ever got being in pieces on the floor because I just had to open it to see what made it tick. I remember putting it back together and dumping the BIOS then going through it line by line trying to understand what every opcode did and why. I remember that dump being thicker than the family bible. I remember getting so good at it that I no longer needed a disassembler to tell what the code was doing, I could look at the raw hex dump and work out what the opcodes and the operands were. But that did not come from a single night of intense studying or even a week or even a month, just keep at it. No retreat, no surrender.

Well, I came up with another post template that I do like much better than that one, if you'd like to see it. I'm already using it on the forum. I hoped to find a way to move the translations onto the dialogue (since the characters speak French,) so I might look into doing something like that, trying to make a box hover above the dialogue instead of scrolling down to the bottom where there's a hidden box that shows them all at once. I bookmarked your link too! It looked interesting, so I'm going to ready it when I'm not so sleepy.
