Tomorrow's game is a nerve-wracking one. If the Eagles win (or the Cowboys lose), they'll win the division and go to the playoffs, eliminating Dallas in the process. If they lose, they miss out. But it's not the thought of the Eagles potentially losing the division and a playoff appearance that bothers me. It's not even the possibility of the Cowboys winning the division and making the post-season that bothers me the most. No, it's the fact that if Dallas wins the division, they'll be the first back-to-back NFC East winners since 2003-04, a claim that currently belongs to the Eagles. Normally, if the Cowboys were to win the division, I'd just go, "Ah, shucks. Take all my power, [Dallas's wild card round opponent]." But this is different. The possibility of them going back-to-back fills me with both physical and mental disgust. It must not be permitted to occur under any circumstances. On a lighter note, I have this to entertain me for the time being:

Well, despite them being division rivals, I hope all the pieces fall into place for the Eagles. I'd like to say maybe the Skins could help you out, but I don't see it happening. Never know though, the Dolphins did beat the Patriots today.
Pretty good game right now with the Lions and the Packers.

We all knew the chiefs were going to get a win but Miami beating New England? What's their excuse this time? ๐

Today: - Eagles win NFC East
- Dallas is eliminated from playoff contention
- Cowboys fail to win back-to-back NFC East titles
- Wentz becomes the first passer in Eagles history to throw for 4,000 yards in one season
- Eagles have found a third great running back for next year's roster (whom they'll probably cut for questionable and unpopular reasons, but still)
- Eagles coaching staff redeem selves, somehow
- Wentz finishes another season without injury
- Eagles maintain their all-time series lead against the Giants
- Wentz gets to start in his first ever playoff game
- Dallas blows out their opponent in a meaningful week 17 game but still loses the division
- Wentz haters in shambles
- Eagles practice squad > Dallas starters confirmed
I like this day.

Man, 49ers and Seahawks was a good game too. Rooted for the 49ers, glad they won.

Green Bay sucked against Detroit but, they still won and solidified a first round bye! Give Rogers and the rest of the Pack 2 weeks of rest and it's off to the races! Woohoo!!!

Thanks for the dig buddy - simple, the Pats simply sucked during the last half of this season. No excuse. We may be in for another ten year drought if Brady goes this year. I don't know, the Patriots are clearly the best team in the league at evaluating and acquiring top talent. If there's another Brady-type QB about to enter the league, I suspect the Patriots will find a way to get him. I do give you thanks for giving kc an opportunity at the superbowl, but its kc so they wont end up winning the superbowl. I think KC has a good shot if they can find a way to get past Baltimore. I'd love to see Andy Reid get a ring. In coaching news, the NFC East is about to become more exciting, or at least slightly more interesting. I'm hearing that Shurmur is gone from the Giants, Garrett will soon officially be gone from the Cowboys, and the Redskins are very likely to hire Ron Rivera (assuaging my fear that Dallas might get him). Next season could see as many as two teams with a winning record!

Dan Snyder fired Bruce Allen today and apparently is cleaning house. I don't have anything against Ron Rivera, good coach and a former player who won the Super Bowl as a Bear against the Patriots in '86.
But, why not give Bill Callahan the head coaching position? He's familiar with the players and staff and did an alright job as the interim coach considering he took over an 0-5 team. Hard to come in and turn a team around at almost mid season.
Callahan has been a head coach before and is considered an offensive guru, so why not keep it in house and give him the shot? I don't understand the decisions Snyder makes. I wish he would hire someone to handle all football operations and just stay in the owners box.

Redskins owner Dan Snyder starts press conference today introducing Ron Rivera as new head coach by wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Glad he's on top of things.

Good game though. Actually wanted to the Bills and Allen to win. Just a great play at the end sealed it.
Good one now between New England and Tennessee. Actually rooting for the Patriots here, tired of all the analysts and sites bashing Brady and saying he's done. I think the guy has some good football left. We'll see.
