Automatically Goes Back To List Of Topics

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question and I apologize in advance but is there a way to have my board where after I make a post it will automatically go back to the list of topics instead of the thread?

@coffeelover, unfortunately this would not be possible as the only way to accomplish it would result in two page loads which violates our developer guidelines.
