Years ago I made a thread similar to this one where some old Proboard members. It had a lot of attention and I was just curious to who is still here? I haven't used this service in years and found my way back. Im interested in who's still around and their story.
Some of the old forums I remember are: G101, Soildsnake Designs, Zamanto Designs, Socal, Studio Zero, and so on.

I remember your name, although I don't think we ever interacted in any way I was on most of the sites you mentioned but mostly active here at the time. I think you might be thinking of this thread?Anyway, welcome back

Though SSD was always my mainstay, and where I spent most of my time. Of course I was a mod/gmod/admin there over the years too, so that'd be why.

It's good, i just moved across the country from the east coast to the west coast. And, no, not to California. Still coding and designing, still playing video games. Pretty much the same old stuff.

I very fondly remember SolidSnake Designs, SoCal, Studio Zero, Zanmato Designs, and definitely Outside The Wall (that was my baby and I still love the v1 color scheme). Oliver, Urban Cinderella, Hechizero, Lans Tartare, Alan, Peter, WebworldX, Invader Jello, Uchiha Sasuke, Whitney, Kay, Josh, Nadim, California, Infinite, Ash. Though it didn't last and ultimately the place closed, I think the staff we had for SSD versions 3 through 5 were stellar. Not saying the v1 and v2 OGs weren't good, but they didn't have me on board then

My first forum is an adult now He's eighteen. I absolutely adored SoCal & California's approach to PRoBoards. One thing i think a lot of you forgot, that didn't go over very well with the ProBoards in the longrun was GZ:Evolution/infinity. They wrote those huge RPG addons, but, they caused a lot of dookie with Google Adsense due to iFrames. These people found out ways to make automatic member groups on registrations, maps for exploration, turned your forum into a freaken zelda with graphic mini games, full shops, etc. No shop system has ever been as complex as those ones. We didn't get very long with it before ProBoards broke all those plugins. They did manipulate how iFrames and profiles worked. If only plugin keys existed back then...

Definitely remember Zero Tolerance (he had another name, symphonic killer? something like that) and his innovation with self installing codes. I remember him laughing about how the installer for one of his RPG codes was way harder to code than the RPG itself was.
I seem to recall GZ:Evolution was his forum, yeah?
