It is currently 2021, 26 years after the end of Yu Yu Hakusho. The demoness Kokou is now the ruler of Makai. She and her husband, the former demon king Enki, have managed to keep relative peace between the three worlds, with minimal interference from Reikai. Demons (and demon/human hybrid children) are now a common sight in Ningenkai, as demons are permitted to live openly amongst humans on the condition that they do not cause any trouble. The canon characters we know and love have thrived, making new families and friendships and nurturing their old ones.
However...Makai (and the other two worlds that hang in the balance) might be in for an upheaval! The tenth Makai Tournament is now on the horizon, scheduled for March 15, 2021. Will Kokou be able to keep her hard-won throne? Or will she be replaced by someone else? Could that someone else be you?
Forever-Fornever-YYH (or FFN, for short), is a brand-new, next-gen, easy-application Yu Yu Hakusho roleplay forum. It's a place for battles (we have an entire board dedicated just to battles and training!), romance, friendship, adventure, and most importantly, it's a place for fun! We have zero tolerance for hatred, bullying, or exclusivity; everyone is welcome as long as they love Yu Yu Hakusho roleplay. You can play as a "free" canon character, an OC, or both (the current playable character limit is 12). Demon OCs can be one of the five types of demons (Kami, Mixed, Elemental, Animal, or Monster), and you can also choose to play as a human, either psychic or ordinary. EDIT: In light of the upcoming tournament, we are now looking for players to be Koto and Juri! Anyone who signs up to be one of them will be given a Moderator position and will commentate and moderate battles! This goes for the actual tournament as well as our organized practice matches, which will start February 1 and run through the 6.
