Hi BunnieThe answer fields in the popup during poll creation will accept BBCode, so images are possible there without the use of a plugin. The question field will accept plain text only. I don't know if a plugin could be made to allow images there. If so, maybe through the use of a key? In any case, it would likely be quite complex and I doubt the juice would be worth the squeeze. JMO.

Thanks retreat. I first added an image in the thread. Then in BBC view I copied the BBC code and pasted in an answer field of the poll. This code was literally showed in the answer; so no image. where did it go wrong?

This code was literally showed in the answer; so no image. where did it go wrong? What you pasted was probably truncated. There seems to be a limit to how much BBCode can be pasted into the answer fields. For instance, either of these will paste completely: [img]https://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/bbcode/image.png[/img]
[img src="https://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/bbcode/image.png" alt=" "] This: [img alt=" " src="https://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/bbcode/image.png" style="max-width:100%;"] Will be truncated to this: [img alt=" " src="https://storage.proboards.com/forum/images/bbcode/image.png" style="max-width:100% Which of course will not display as an image.

Okay. So what to do? Use TinyUrl.com or something I don't think tiny URL will work in this case as images need to have an image extension (.jpg, .gif, .png) which tiny URL obscures. My recommendation would be to re-upload to an image host that automatically shortens their links. Imgur comes to mind, and since these aren't layout images you'll be okay as per their TOS (:

This BBCode will produce an image: [img src="https://tinyurl.com/2ruytauu" style="max-width:100%;" alt=" "] Like so: So either method, (tiny URL or an image host that provides short links) will work.
