So I had an idea for a plugin, but I have no idea how to make it or if it would even work, but I was thinking of having a custom writing prompt generator on my forum. The idea is almost like a mad lib that can be written up by staff and added to a pool of randomly generated prompts based on the plugin settings.
So for example, there could be a tab for the "variable" groups, such as:
Then there could be a page for the textareas between the groups. Then these groups can be added to a text prompt:
It's (Group 1 - Time of day) and (Group 2 - Weather). You're (Group 3 - Activity) when a (Group 4 - Enemies) attacks.
There could be a list of different prompts that the generator can pull from to generate a prompt for the user.
You're (activity) at (time of day) when (person) (action).
Your (relationship) approaches you and (action) (dialogue).
But the user will see something along the lines of:
"Click the button below to generate a prompt
(button)"
"It's early morning and cloudy. You're hunting when a wolf attacks"
Everything would be set up on the plugin page by staff so that it can be custom to the roleplay setting and plot, and I'd like a way to set it wherever I want and style it myself to fit in with every theme. I've also drawn up a (pretty bad) diagram of what I was thinking it would look like. I'd appreciate any help with this! I think it would be really nice for not only my forum, but other roleplay forums as well.

Early Morning | Sunny | Hunting | Wolf |
Afternoon | Snowing | Reading a Book | Dragon |
Late Night | Foggy | Exploring | Bear |
