Smaller Replies in Threads

Is there a way to make thread replies display smaller than the original post in a thread?

I would also like to increase the space between the original post from it's replies.

Theoretically you could do this, but you'd need a complete overhaul of several different templates as well as moderate to heavy CSS additions.

I can't personally help with this due to lack of bandwidth (sorry) but if you're interested in this it will probably take some time to find someone that can help out with the customisation on it.
