Experimentations in animation

I.ve been playing around with animation in a few programs and made this.



The image was a banner I made for GR a while back and there was no animation to start with.
It took 864 frames and was 312mb in size to start with, but by playing around in Imageready I managed to get it down to 40 frames and 257kb in size (yes a lot of frames had to go ;D)

I'm thinking that this could make some static banners come more to life and add a new angle? Whats your thoughts on this.

Nice animation, but when its finished it just goes back to the start suddenly and doesnt looks to good, can you make it smoother? and can i ask why there is all these white bit things?

Ok the reason for that is the fact that the finished animation was 312mb and posting that here would crash Proboards lol and was cut down as an example and not the finished product.

I have just tried a smaller version from

And this being only 22 odd frames when finished should be much better and as I said in the first post, this is still new and is work in progress.

That 2nd one is a lot better =D Nice job on these, Beast. Definitely something I haven't seen around here too often. Lol, the 2nd one looks like he's saying "Uhh, it was... big and round"

Too often What taking a static image and making them blink and mouth words ;D I'll have to check back through all the topics here

Nice Animations. I must say that would have taken ages to do, Assasin. But it's still good!

I was trying to do animation but every other frame just copied the one I edited.

I think that a banner that has plenty of text on it, it would work well. The above animation I added teeth as well to give it a more human theme.

How are you doing these? They look great. Do you just smudge the mouth a little each time?

No if you notice there's much more movement going on than just the eyes and lips. Seen more in the gun animation and slightly noticable in the female banner.

It is done using 2 programs.
