Hullo,
I read in the thread that there was work toward an option to have Monthly events repeat on a set day of the week rather than on a numbered day of the month (2nd Monday vs. the 12th kinda deal), but there doesn't appear to be a way to tell the plugin to do so.
Does anyone know how this can be set or if it was an unfinished feature?

Any relative link. So a link excluding the 'forumname.proboards.com' part of the url.
And I did not keep any short links, but anything tinyurl or things like that didn't work. But with this plugin those aren't really needed anymore so not really too worried about 'em.

Hullo, we just paid to for extra space to be able to use this but we are having trouble getting a href's to encapsulate images. Whenever a signature is edited while the plugin is active all linked images get split into a string of 'a href' plain text beside the image they are supposed to be linking; and the closing a tags don't appear.
This only happens when this plugin is active at the time of a signature edit.
Also, sometimes it straight up clears everything in the signature and replaces it with the plain text of the user's id number.
Thoughts on how this can be fixed?
Never mind! I thought of something just after posting and it worked. The plugin does not like relative links, nor does it like short links -- which're kinda necessary for standard PB signature sizes.
You have to use absolute links for this plugin to work with them proper. Could be an improvement if this was fixed, but at least we have a solution.
Cheers!

Evening Violette, you could add a Box Shadow on the wrapper to get that effect as the easiest method. This would just mean adding the following inside your existing #wrapper brackets:
box-shadow: 0px 0px 0px 10px #944b8d;
Changing the 10px will change its thickness.

Javascript/jquery, etc. There is kind of a way to use straight CSS for a tab function but once you start trying to use CSS for something it's not explicitly intended for it starts getting quirky and can end up being more of a headache than just learning javascript. Sadly I can't help you much further as I have no experience with them, sorry ^^; *Edit: Oh actually fennecfyre, there's this older thread that could be of use to you maybe?

Er sorry, I read 'character profile' and thought this was for posts/threads. Not Member profile. I don't know javascript/jquery at all and have only ever used W3Schools for this thing. But the plugin won't work for layout templates. You have to use scripts.

Have you looked at the Tabbed Table in Posts plugin? You can fully style it with your forum's CSS so it adapts to every theme you have (if you have more than one). Otherwise... Tabs require a script for onclick functions unless you go into something like using a trail of quirky CSS to accomplish it. The plugin is by far your easiest bet for in-posts.

If you remove the default classes then it won't inherit any styling from the theme.
So, remove the class="container", class="title-bar", and similarly the "content" class. Though you may have to replace those classes with your own styling then.

So add the image into the CSS as I mentioned... "...and if you want anything applied to the base, such as a background image, put it into the banner-base's CSS section." (though I errored and called it banner-base at the end ^^; sorry. Should be banner-container)
#banner-container { background-image: @banner_background_image; }
Or whatever the url to the images is

At it's absolute simplest, to get a hover over banner you only need to do a couple things.
In the Forum Wrapper Layout Template... + Find the line: '<div id="banner-container" role="banner">' + Replace everything inside that div so it looks like the below...
Go into the Advanced Styles & CSS. At the bottom you need to essentially have this...
... Anything in red you can replace to whatever you want, and you can add more styling and etc to fit your needs. I didn't put anything but a single placeholder image in the Layout template cause I dunno what else you're doing. But basically whatever you want to show up in the Hover goes on the layout template, and if you want anything applied to the base, such as a background image, put it into the banner-base's CSS section.
