Palin is a marketing gimmick. I can't believe how anyone would think she is a valid Vice-Presidential candidate.
I didn't realise quite how bad she was until this interview.

The news everyone has been waiting to hear; I shall most likely be attending this get together. The only thing stopping me would be Uni commitments but I very much doubt I'll have anything on a Saturday. Book your tickets now just to make sure! Book tickets? I don't have that long term planning bit of the brain...

Girlfriend Now that is the most valid reason to be against it----if the EU is an example. The USA is not ready to be ruled by a bunch of "Brussells like Bureaucrats"....and our HRC would have to go (bonus). People are only against the E.U. because of some completely illogical sense of patriotism. While the E.U. is far from perfect, it's members as a whole are far better off for it. As for a North American Union. Mexico would have a lot to gain in the short term, and the USA and Canada a lot to gain in the long term.

I'm currently reading... Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk tis good Another Chuck Palahniuk book, which i recommend extremely highly is Rank, sensational book. I am currently reading Catcher in the Rye. 120 pages in, isn't turning out to be the classic I was expecting.

Pretty poor from both candidates it seemed. Everything sounded like a sound bite they wanted quoted. Getting tied up in petty squabbles, didn't do anything for either of them in my opinion.
I guess McCain came out slightly better since Obama didn't wow anyone like his reputation suggested he would.

Just because you disagree that someone should be saying certain things, doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to say them.
You may think the person that posted the comical image of Jesus shouldn't have, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to.
Also, I'm tired of this whining self-pity I keep on hearing, about Christians or America always being mocked or insulted. It's obvious those things are going to get mocked, they have a dominant presence in society. The things that people encounter most often are going to get mocked the most... it's not about people picking on them..

The Dark Knight, clearly.
Pineapple Express is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen though.

"Be Patriotic-Pay More Taxes" .. that is what Biden said. And, that is what you will have in an Obama/Biden administration. Read ArticleYou seemed to have missed out the main point... only people earning over 250k are going to be taxed more, most people will be taxed less... your post is more bias than the McCain ad quoted in the article. As for the proposal, it's a tricky business. In the state society is in, the rich are inevitably going to be taxed at a higher rate, and it is probably the best way to go about it. However, it's completely unjust to impose a supertax where the rich barely receive any of their earning beyond a certain point.

Crawl - Kings Of Leon, just listened to Sex On Fire for the 50th time. I cannot wait til this album comes out, sounds immense and epic.
They are by far the best band making music at the moment...
