definitely strengthens the team. They'll both be fairly interchangeable, they can both play forward or easily slip in between midfield and upfront.
Keane isn't as prolific as Torres but he'll contribute valuable and important goals.
I think it was more important for Liverpool to get another high quality striker than it was to get Barry.
Still think what they really need is a winger.

Awesome!!! I love Jack White. He's one of the best in the music industry today. Definitely one of the best producers. He's one of the few who can cut a full album in a week or two. Except there's one problem with that article: Meg White is his ex-wife (wife at the time of formation), not his big sister. With so many people saying one and so many saying the other, I vote she's both the sister rumour started because they look similar and they neither confirmed or denied the rumours... and Jack White is awesome, and Alicia keys isn't bad. So I'm guessing it will be great. I'd prefer JW and Keys doing it then Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson. Winehouse has talent but is a complete mess and Ronson is just averagel Jack White is one of the best men in music at the moment.

I don't think I've ever read them either.
Probably because a. they're common sense b. I'd never do the things they ban and c. they've all come up in threads over the years

To be fair, if Batman really turned up to kick the crap out of you you'd probably find his voice intimidating...

I can't see Catwoman being much more than a comic book character, which wouldn't work in the Christopher Nolan Batman world. It would fit the character Angelina Jolie always plays, but unfortunately she's terrible so she shouldn't be allowed neat the next Batman film...
Riddler might work, although it would take a lot for whoever played it to get away from the Joker comparisons since they're not too dissimilar.
I would say just make it about Two Face but I don't think that character can carry an entire film on it's own.
Personally I'd be tempted to go with Henri Ducard/Ra's Al Ghul (Liam Neeson's character in Batman Begins)
I doubt it will match the Dark Knight though. Best we can hope for is something of the same calibre as Batman begins.
edit: I do think Two Face could easily be in a future film, but not as the main villain.

i saw Wanted the other day, was pretty cool with a nice twist towards the end but the fact that i knew that James McAvoy was Scottish and using an awful American accent overshadowed most of the movie for me "wants to see the dark knight" Wanted was just terrible. Some guy had the idea that it would be cool to curve bullets. He then watched some good movies (primarily the Matrix and Fight Club) then cobbled together some terrible story line involving a psychic loom. Morgan Freeman was clearly there for the massive paycheck. Angelina Jolie playing the role she always does. and James MacAvoy proving that him not being annoying in Atonement was a one off fluke, and it wasn't just his atrocious American accent. anyway, The Dark Knight is the best new movie i've seen in a long time.

Some stupid bird just flew into our window. Hah! Scared me, but after I realized what happened and saw the thing pick itself up off the ground and fly away, I started to laugh. It reminds me of a windex commercial... At least he wasn't hurt. Has that ever happened to you? A pigeon flew into my windscreen once... that was surprising.

.... the national government governs the entire nation i.e. England, Wales, Northern Ireland AND Scotland. Scotland may have it's own parliament but it's powers are pretty limited. The actual government isn't just 'the south' Yes, but I would call the Scottish government a more proportional representation of the people of Scotland's desires, since most of the small parties don't run for Westminster. THat's what I was more trying to get at. ah right, I'm sorry.

It's not much better in the UK either with our 3-party state. The two main ones are as bad as each other whilst the third one though better, just ain't popular enough. That man had every right to run for Senator, and why he can't, well... It's only the south that's really 3-party. The Scottish government is a bundle of little ones. .... the national government governs the entire nation i.e. England, Wales, Northern Ireland AND Scotland. Scotland may have it's own parliament but it's powers are pretty limited. The actual government isn't just 'the south'

From what i've read, it wasn't just the pay cut, it was that she was told "We survived without Richard (Whitely), we'll survive without you". For all the good programmes Ch4 has given us, they are a right bunch of prats. agreed. it was tragic that richard whitely died, but i think maybe countdown could use this opportunity to revamp the show, as it were. revamp? I don't think the majority of countdown viewers are in favour of revamping anything... I think it was more the manner of the way the producers handled the situation rather than the pay cut. Telling her that you can "survive without" her, giving her 48 hours to decide... very disrespectful. and while 400 quid an episode may seem like a lot, imagine if you were forced to take a 90% pay cut in your job. Even if you loved it you'd probably move somewhere else to continue. Having said that I have very little respect for Carol Vorderman after doing adverts for some generic loans company who advertise loans with high interest rates to people who shouldn't be getting loans.

Correcting years of patriarchal societies isn't going to be quick. The important steps have been taken in the last 100 years but I don't think active control of the number of women compared to men in important roles is a good idea, if it means positive discrimination.
It's a natural process for ingrained sexist ideas to be worked out of society at large. It will improve generation to generation if society is heading in the right direction.

If you ever say you 'win' at something you fail at being cool. Of course that's just a matter of opinion. It's a fact. Scientists recently published their findings on the subject...
