Well back in the 90s the technology was a lot more limited (in the sense that the advanced graphics and stuff didn't exist, or was unheard of) so of course a group of friends could create stuff. ;D ...that's more possible now then it's ever been, especially when it comes to distributing it.

The saddest thing is... This is most likely not the end. If they aren't arrested, this will be seen as a 'success' and more and more youths will collaborate over social networking platforms to cause chaos in our cities. With jobseeker's allowance being cut off from those who don't keep logs of their work and they are now very strict about certain requirements you need to meet to keep your benefits... Looting the shops is seen as a way to overcome this. It will continue for many nights to come it seems. Yep, social networking is just horrible.

Wooo! I'm not the only loser on GT to go to 6 flags! I've gone four times ;D Once when I was young and then three times this and last year! ;D I'm still very nervous around roller coasters and I don't like water parks that much... however I do like to try new things! You realize there's more than one Six Flags, right? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Flags#Current_propertiesAlso, Water Park > Amusement Park any day. Growing up in Houston and currently living in Phoenix makes me want to cool off as much as possible.

the scene with harry and hermione dancing in the first part of the deathly hallows isn't actually in the book, the director wanted to put it in there so those that only watch the films will go do they..... don't they? as much as i am an anal harry potter book fan i found that it sort of worked but hermione and ron should be together, it's harry and that should of got with draco not ginny ;] after all dumbledore was gay so why not the hero of the story. Ugh, just like a bad work of fan fiction.

True. But then explain why Harry kisses not one but TWO girls (right on camera, wiki claims he did it more)? Was he confused? errr... what? Relationships change. Kissing someone doesn't exactly say "Okay, you're mine now. You can't be in any other relationship, ever".

No - not being it's supposedly haunted, but more because I'd rather live in a small one story ranch style house (that and I just don't like Dutch Colonial Architecture).

You must have been watching the films with your eyes closed to get that impression. Why on earth are you imagining that main characters always get the main girls? Everyone said that. But you must remember that I've never read the books. I have never seen the movies until just a month ago, when I was watching one or two a day before the release. I literately was grabbing all this info and trying to soak it in as quickly as possible. Why not? Harry and Hermione seem better together than some character who never really did seem well developed to me. I agree that Ginny wasn't really touched upon in the movies, but she's one of the most important characters in the books - especially the later ones. I'd say she's a tier 2 character, with Harry, Ron, and Hermione being the only tier 1.

I both loved that movie with every fiber of my being, and hated it with a fiery passion. Alas, as soon as the spell hit Snape, I was a torrential downpour until the very end. I loved the movie because it did the story justice, and, as the most avid of Harry Potter fans (I have a 5 year old RPG site. Can't get more avid than that), I am proud to bear those tears. But then, after the excitement and stuff wore off, the reality set in, that the movie did the final book no justice. The scenes of high impact in the books were very soft in the movies (Like Fred's death. In the book, the powerfulness of it broke my heart to the point where I sobbed for hours, refusing to pick the book up and read past it for a day after. The movie, however... The emotion wasn't... I don't know... It was sort of like it was rushed over.) Also, a lot of highly important deaths were overlooked. Collin Creevey, for instance, who was so young, but so highly regarded. I don't know... I think I would have been a lot more at peace if the movie was split up into 3 movies, and everything in the books was added in there. Everything in part 2 felt so very rushed, one didn't have time to linger on the emotional impact the small things had. As for the sadness I have at the fact that it is now all over... I feel sort of hallow. I cried so hard when it hit me that it was over. I read the first book in second grade. I've followed for the past twelve years. I feel like I grew up with Harry Potter. Now it's gone? I don't believe it. Edit: And this. They rushed it. That's why it wasn't as good as the previous. They had pressure before, but now the pressure was the biggest yet. They decided to rush their product out to make fans happy instead of working on the bugs and improving the errors. Even if it was word for word in the book, the ending was almost to the point of being terrible for me. I mentioned it already, but killing Voldemort wasn't epic at all. Then the next scene showed no one acknowledging the death. It seemed more focus on some teens who, in my opinion, shouldn't have fallen in love. The past movies each have had some drama to it, but had it perfect. It got better with each movie... until the last one when they rushed it and as someone on IMDB put it, half the scenes, especially the ones near the beginning, were a few actors standing in their spots, trying to look concerned as they spoke their dialogue. 'waits for Harry Potter fans to attack me' No, you're right - the way they handled Voldemort's death IN THE MOVIE is something that I've heard numerous complaints about, I felt the same way. The book handled it much better. The "teens who shouldn't have fallen in love" thing is just preposterous though. I know you haven't read the books, but they've been hinting at those couples hooking up since the beginning (especially Harry and Ginny... even the movies do. Remember Chamber of Secrets when Ron said Ginny couldn't stop talking about him and it was getting a little annoying?). I feel like the last movie was the best once since Goblet of Fire - Part II, in my opinion, was supposed to feel rushed. The battle of Hogwarts was chaotic and the entire second movie only took up something like 200-300 pages in the book, while part one took up 700 (iirc). Really, I thought it was one (if not the best) Harry Potter movie. Again, I do agree with your point on how they handled Voldemort's death - it was much, much better in the book.

League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth (Both Free) Terraria Mount and Blade: Warband Titan Quest Cthulu Saves the World Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II I'll add more when I can think of some, but most of those should be fairly cheap on steam (and they're all worth playing). I didn't really like Heroes of Newerth and I don't really like the whole 'DotA' type game. I avoid it on Starcraft 2 too. Terraria looks cool but I'm looking for a game that's going to look and play absolutely awesome on this suped up machine. ;D Not interested in Warhammer. I'll take a look at the others later. So basically you just want OHSHINYGRAPHIX? Metro 2033 Crysis 2 Elder Scrolls: Oblivion with a graphics mod (or just wait for Skyrim) Fallout 3 with a graphics mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat Just Cause 2 Dirt 2 RIFT Grand Theft Auto V with a graphics mod I know you don't like shooting games, but the sad truth is a good majority of games that people consider realistic looking are usually shooters.

Age of Empires (any) and Age of Mythology are good. Go Age of Mythology's probably my favorite PC game of all time, although it's a little dated and I'm pretty sure the online servers were shut down.
