All that will do is prevent a game from running if it is copied. The disk will still be able to be copied. And when relating to games, the main EXE does the protection check. If you just want to protect assorted files and apps on a CD that will not work. Unless you make a Viewer that has that protection scheme in it. AND you encrypt the source files, OR put the source files in a properity format that only your viewer can read.

72 hours? Sounds like the California Drivers License/ID issue. They spent countless hours and about the same ammount of money to make an ID that no one could counterfeit. Lasted one day Kapt~`'- 3 days after Sony's scheme was cracked, the programmer that cracked it was forced to shut down his site, turn all copies of the source code of his app, and is not allowed to even discuss the programming teniques that he used for anyone. How did u know that?

How did u know that? I read the programmers statement on an underground news site. But I first learned about it on slashdot. I often go to www.flexbeta.net/ to read articles. Its a good site for IT news
