Tricky Redirections

Have you ever been surprised or agitated by thinking you were going to a certain site, only to find out that you have been redirected to an ad or page that has no relation to what you were looking at?

I had one of those experiences just now. I went to download a song by Tupac, when I was suddenly redirected and almost tricked into buying a Russian mail-order bride. No complaints if it was the one that they had pictured, but it still ticked me off. But I suppose I would have been madder if I was looking for a Russian mail-order bride and was redirected to a Tupac download.

It happens to me all the time. No, it doesn't surprise me at all. I am so used to it, it gets me sick.

Thats happend to me a few times lol not recently though but I do get ticked off by it. Especially when its something Im really interested in looking for.

While the redirection can be a ticker, I abhore when you're looking for something, and you think you've found a site that sounds exactly like what you're looking for, only to find out that their hosting was taken away, or the URL/Description is part of one of those automated domain register things.

Back on topic. I hate when that happens. I'll be looking for something and think I find it only to discover that I am an idiot and clicked on some site that prolly just gave me the latest version of new Spyware

i know how you feel. I did this competition to win a free ipod a while back, there were 100 questions! So I was obviously really board. I answer all the questions, think i got bout 70 odd right, click submit, and it re-directs me to a free car insurance site. The nerve! I would have smashed the computer in with a hammer if I had a hammer.
