To be honest id look for a job what you want to do, not what anyone else wants you to do. Its you that is going to be working there not them.. I know when i was looking for my first job my mam wanted me to go to college. But once i got the job she was very pleased.

If your really wanting a job over the summer then you had better be looking now because all the summer jobs are going to be snapped up like theres no tomorrow. Like Trina said go with what YOU want and not what other people want. After all they arn't the ones who have to do a job you don't like. Positive Positive Positive

Go with what you would like to do.
Before you even apply for your first job, you'll want to assemble a list of references & a resume. With a one-page resume, this employer will get a general idea about you and your work history.
You'll want to start off with some crap jobs, like Burger King or McDonald's, though. That way you can build up your resume and get into some of the better jobs, like I have.
If you would like some additional tips, you can PM me.

Its just one of those things in life that you get no matter what. Have a chat with your teacher and mam and tell them what you want to do and make sure you have reasons why you want to and what you could acheive

Hey man, you asked for a suggestion and I gave it to you. The way the work force is now, you may have to settle for crap jobs TEMPORARILY. You could even work there for a couple of months or something like that.
Khaos, I am giving a suggestion to someone about where they should start out to work. I'm not saying they are crappy jobs. I'm talking that they are more beginning jobs, ones to start out with. I can't give my opinion about those places considering I have not worked there myself. I did not mean to offend you.
