According to what I've read, messages in the trash folder in Yahoo mail aren't deleted automatically. So can anyone explain why messages are disappearing from my trash folder without my intervention?

Well, the help section doesn't say anything like that. Messages aren't supposed to be deleted without me actually deleting them. And it seems to happen every week or so. After thirty days, it deletes something. I thought it was bulk though..

At least GMail asks your intervention before deleting something.

No thanx, Yahoo is fine. I'll send you a nice gmail invite if you want it. You can forward your Yahoo mail to your GMail account. At least GMail asks your intervention before deleting something.

So, messages in the trash get deleted every 30 days? Then how come it happens(for me, at least) every week, & why would the help section say messages aren't automatically deleted from the trash if that isn't true? After thirty days, it deletes something. I thought it was bulk though.. this is correct
