Firstly i have to commend you on a very good original topic for a board, my dad had diabetes, sadly it took his life amost other more serious medical things.

The organisation is good though i might be inclined to put the "share your stories" forum in the "Inspirations and Prayers" as, when you think about it that is inspiration and hopefully prayers (for others) as well and would fit in nicely there. And it would safe on space and make more sense organisation wise and when navigating the forum.

Maybe put the Resource center and free stuff forums in the same category as they are similiar and both offer things for free. And again for organisation sake and being easier to navigate.

IF you do the last one though it would leave the recepies and introductions forums in seperate catergories on their own, or you could put them in one category too with a possible general forum for normal non-topic discussions amonst your members (optional)

I like the look of the board alot though the text on the menu buttons is a little cramped and whatever is in the header - "Kokomo" & "Old Time Rock and Roll" isn't working though that maybe to do with the error message i got about needing something for the site to run fully (I can't check on firefox as it's having a breakdown on me).

Prehaps a baner would help the forum though it it pretty dam nice i woud like to say. Another thing i would consider is prehaps using a darker (slightly) gold for the links? It's up to you but it's a little little bit belding into it's background almost. If you let me know what colour you are currently using i can suggest an alternative.

The content and activity seems good though prehaps see what you can do in keeping things fresh with the forums in the The Information and Reference Center section. I think a slight re-organisation i mentioned would also help the other forums as well with activity as it seems you are doing alot of the work but only getting a little back, i may be wrong.

Overall you've a great original premise for a forum that could do well, witha few tweaks here and there. I would seriously look at your organisation with floating forums (Single forums in a category) and see how you can make the most out of your forum with a slight re-organisation to help navigation, see earlier comment, as i think it would benefit your forum hugely!

Ok, thanks for the tips, I knew I needed a major overhaul. Plus it didn't help with me getting sick myself in Nov and Jan, so I wasn't able to keep up the forum up myself. And 2 members lost family members due to this disease right opening this board . Most of the members then were dialysis members. Its mainly for info purposes anyway. Tobi over at ESRD has the chat room

The music thing may get canned, I have a banner but its of a lighthouse scene so it may not go with this "beachy" theme Moonshadow and I are going for right now. She made the skin, and I'm trying to do the other stuff like the background, buttons, markers. Since I'm a beginner (LOL) its not going too good, but hey, I'm trying. Thanks for the tips!!!!!
