I can never get backgrounds to work.

It's true. Every time I create a background (1024x768), I put it on my forum, and what do you know--it repeats itself and looks like crap. I create the background according to standard monitor size (and my own monitor size)...I can't understand what I do wrong. I go to other sites...great backgrounds, they can get them to work. Must be me.

Does anyone know how to solve that problem?
