Help with <table>'s

The code above seems to look correct but it doesnt behave correctly "Board now open!" should be centered but it isnt any help is much appreciated thanx

How about putting that cell in a row.

This is wrong:

Use this:
<font size="2">Become part of our</font> <a href="URL"><font size="3">staff</font></a>
or better yet, for XHTML:
<span style="font-size: 12px;">Become a part of our</span> <a href="URL" style="font-size: 14px;">staff</a>
