If you wish to code a forum and host it, like ProBoards, then first you must code a forum system. Then you create an install script that will give the users a forum on your host with their username/pass etc. If you wish to host phpbb or something then you need to do custom requests or create an auto-install script... Yeah I used to have one, everyone loved it, but unfortunatly I don't have it anymore.  |

To be a host, you also need to either have a reseller hosting account or a server.

Then what is fourm hosting? When you host a forum for someone. ProBoards is forum hosting. The forum is being hosted for you, you can sign up to get one, hosted not on your server. |
