To remove googlebot?? He has been following me around both of my sites for three months now. One is on my poetry site. He is recording all my poetry without my approval.. I am trying to get this investigated, and see if this is illegal, for copyright material. Any help with this matter will be helpful.. Thanks Angel

Okay I read that but what I see is incorrect. This googlebot, knows everytime I get onto my website. If I change from one website to the other ( cause I have two with proboards ) It follows me. Both are set for members only. I even have pass word protection on some of my boards, and he still gets into my pass word boards. This is unfair and unjust. I am losing members due to this googlebot, and it is very frustrating. . I do know for a while he was using three differant computers from mountian dew Ca. I got it's ip #'s each time. My members told me that he was following me around my site and wanted to know who he was. I had no idea. So I did an investagation which is still in progress at this moment. My concern is for my poetry. He has no business in recording my poetry and the company will pay the penaty for stealing. I will get to the bottom of this, somehow. I didn't give him permission to follow me, nor to record my poetry.. Thats the bottom line.. I just want to know how we can block googlebot? If you guys don't know.. I will find other help.. Thanks.. There are billions of googlebots across the internet. Not just one. If you block boards from being able to be viewed by guests, all it will be getting is the log in screen, nothing more. So if you block boards from guests, there should be no problem.

For the record a googlebot is not a human being. Don't call the googlebot a him. www.google.com/bot.html

You seem to have serious paranoia and emotional issues. I suggest seeing a psychologist.

I suggest you read up on the googlebot. People have tried to explain it too you.
