clear boards?

Is there a way to make the windows and stuff clear.....so I can have just my custom background with the words hovering over the background? No tables. I want this kind of look:
gr8dragon.proboards21.com/index.cgi
but can't figure out how.

Please help. my new board is:

or you could just take out all of the background colors exept the original bg color.
