What language/s do you code?

Just out of intrest, what do people at Proboards code in? and why?

Also, when did you start the languages, and why? and what helped you start them?

I know (X)HTML, CSS, bits of JS, learning PHP, 10 mins of Perl, and that's about it.


I prefer HTML with CSS because its easy to change and does the basics. Then if i want something basic but nice, then JS, but if i want something else like members and stuff like that, then PHP and mySQL. I am currently learning PHP and mySQL.

HTML i learnt just by opening up HTML-Kit and clicking bold and i saw <b> and </b> and then clicking the table, and mucking around....XHTML was just when i was board, about half a year after i learnt HTML. JS i started but never really caught on to. PHP i strated about 1-2 months ago, and css i got by looking at Proboards stuff.

Btw... I know several languages but I'm best at XHTML, JavaScript, C++, Python, PHP, and Java.

I'm pretty fluent in C++ I feel. I learnt QBASIC when I was about 11 or 12 maybe. Erm, of course I can code in HTML, a bit of CSS and stuff.

I'm learning JavaScript at the moment, will soon pick up PHP.
