Java Force Run

Ok i have seen this somewhere but I don't know where,. but can someone get me a code so that no matter what when someone gets onto the forum it automatically turns java on? I'm asking because i'm using code that prevents members from changing there gender once it is set for use of gender based chatrooms, burt since it is java if they disabled java they could change that and i don't want that.

Java is a setting on a person's computer, not on Proboard, so that isn't something that can be done via code.

um...there is a code that force activates java when you go into the site. I have seen it on this site somewhere before but I don't remember where....

Trublu is correct, it is a browser setting and can not be activated via a code.. For security issues as much as anything else..

Also, it's JavaScript that you want activated, not Java, they are 2 separate languages..

Although you can't activate JavaScript via a code, you can ensure that it is activated for your board to be accessible..

Put this in your Global Header for it to effect your entire forum, or the Main Header for it to effect a limited number of pages, the profile page included..

Ok nvm whats the url so get into the headers and footers again...the code completely wiped out my forum....

Edit?: nvm look in support and got it fixed...ty it works now...

Just remember not to remove the footer code if the header code is in place, otherwise your forum will be invisible...

ya well i shut my computer down and it was all gone again and both parts are there....what could be wrong?
