Hey folks,
I'm Dan. I'm seventeen and from England. I don't actually have a ProBoard, nor have I ever been a part of one up until today, but I sort of stumbled on here by accident and was really impressed with what some people are doing with their forums. I'm definitely going to be hanging around for a bit.
I've been involved with forums since I started using the internet (boy, those were the days) and I've held just about every position there is (administrator, moderator, coder, designer, you name it, I've done it). My largest skill is as a marketing manager - I know how to launch, target, advertise and everything else that involves drawing in members. I've been involved with the launch of sites that have gone on to become hugely successful forums (and I've been involved with forums that have completely flopped, I'll admit). I've made numerous attempts to make my own site but I'm always struck by the money barrier. I'm a poor student so I can't afford it.
Anyway, enough of selling myself (any takers?). Glad to be here, and I'm looking forward to getting to know some folks.
