Our Admin has disappeared.

Hi, really not sure where to post this so wont be offended if it's moved.

I belong to a proboards gardening forum and was made a mod along with a couple of others. The problem we have is the bloke who set up our board seems to have disappeared. He did this before for a few months came back for a couple of weeks and now seems to have done it again.

Unfortunately, none of us 3 mods have much of a clue as to how to tweak the boards although 2 of us found this site today and amazingly found out how to paste a code in to get rid of the invisibility option (which was a real bone of contention amongst our 68 members!!! ;D)

Just like to say that I am so glad we have found this place and I'm sure there will be an amazing amount of really stupid questions following, but would also like to ask if anyone has any suggestions for us. We are aware that we can't take over the boards as he could come back and change it unless, of course, we ban him..... but we think that may be a little extreme!!!

What would you do?

the best place to post this would be in support.

but if you can, email the admin of the board, explain your concerns and ask if he'd like to extend one of the mod's powers to be admin. that would be what i would do.
