Here's a signture banner I made using photos of my cat, Merlin. I am thinking of adding it to my signature here, but thought I'd get some feedback first.

I think it should have some lighting or brushes, but overall the signature looks great with the text!

Hmm. What program(s) do you use to design and animate?
I've seen you have been experimenting with different textures which is always a good thing. The texture you used actually looks very cool.
Some problems I have.
- Get rid of the white canvas/background of the image. It hurts the design. =/ - Get rid of the drop shadow as well or lower the opacity on it. Its way too strong. - The edges of this piece seem very soft for some reason. I'd sharpen them a lot. - I'd make the overall size of the piece much smaller. The design looks pixelated and stretched. - Center the text over the cat so there is an equal amount on either side of the cats ears.
Other than that, very interesting design, neat animations, nice job. =D

Thanks for the input, Grey. I never thought about the white canvas..since I've always made my banners on a white canvas. But Maybe a light beige or rust color would be more interesting. If I do that, I would have to do away with the drop shadow..since the background of this board is white. As for the edges, yea I did soften them a bit. Not sure why..just experiementing, I guess. But as for it looking pixelated and stretched..that's the look I am going for. I used a grainy effect to make it look that way. And you are certainly right about the name needing to be centered. I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out. Thanks for taking the time to give me some feedback..I appreciate it! Edit: Oh you asked about the programs I used. I have an older version of Paint Shop Pro (Version 7). It comes with an animator.

Not too bad. I'd say add a few brushes, and you'll be fine. For some odd reason, it reminds me of a biscuit. o.o
