It seems I've gotten myself into a tight spot with a background. P: i30.tinypic.com/142bur4.pngAs you can imagine, I can't just put that bg as it is. It wouldn't fit with other screen sizes, right? Which means I'd have to use flash and make a masking background for that to work. That's fine and dandy, but if you'll notice, that black shadow covers part of the banner as well, and I'm not sure how to make that work. Are there any tutorials or suggestions that might help with this?

You could align the image to the center, and make the background behind that black. That may work. Or, you could get someone to edit the image.

For this, you would need a fixed width website. That way, it would work in all screen sizes (but won't grow larger with larger screens). wimg.mp/38d.pngI could do it for you, but it'd cost moneh.

I could do it for you, but it'd cost moneh. Thanks, Charles. I'm almost tempted. P: Your image gave me an idea. In theory, I think it would work, but practically, it may not be possible. What if I had four divs spanning 100% of the page, each with a different piece of the shadow as the background, set to repeat x or y and top left, bottom left, etc? i25.tinypic.com/8y5m3k.pngThen the coding would be layered so these divs are over the content... Hopefully that makes sense. It's kind of a random thing that popped up in the shower earlier. The shower is a good place to think, even if the thoughts are a bit far-fetched. P:

The problem with that (if I understand it) is making the left/right have heights relative to the middle div, which isn't fixed-height. But if you can get it to work, yay.

After learning the magic of z-index, I got it figured out. ^^ Thanks, Charles. (:
