How do connect a phone with a script?
Like you may have seen those sites like Prankdialer.com.
How do i write a script that can call a specific number and play a specific MP3? Or is it more complicated than that?

You would need hardware specifically designed to do that. Not just a program.

I'm not sure. Why not contact the owners of the website you posted?

There might be some form of API provided by a 3rd party for phone calling. You could talk to Martyn 'cause he has the servers ring him doesn't he?

Depends. It's easy to use a server to send text messages, since SMS providers offer e-mail gateways, and obviously servers have e-mail capabilities. But using the phones themselves, I'm not so sure. Let alone playing audio across the line post-dial. Of course computers exist that do this, as that's how most phone surveys are conducted nowadays, but I don't think a web server is built to do that.

Had a quick google and it would seem that you would need something like this for the backend and a piece of hardware like this. Probably not really gonna be worth the effort though.

www.voiphosting.us/Found them who run servers using the software that Dude mentioned. I don't see why you'd require any new hardware to do this to be honest, although I don't know if the VOIP systems are just for internet to internet or not - look into that on the site if I were you!
