Sorry, I did see your post. I tried the troubleshooting steps, but forgot to answer the questions. That is the motherboard There are two power cords going into the mobo. The hdd is sata I have a cd-rom but it's not yet installed. I had it in before, but it was having the same issue as it is now. It's IDE The memory installed is supported, yes. -------------- I was talking to a buddy of mine. He told me to remove the CMOS battery and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. I put it back in after that time and tried turning the computer on. Now it starts, but then turns off after about 5 seconds, then it starts again. It does this repeatedly. I think I'm going to call Newegg now. OK I suspect that you received something bad. It could be the memory, CPU or Motherboard... However I would guess (By the fact you hardly get ANY P.O.S.T. anything) that it is the Motherboard that is the issue. The reason I asked about the power suply connectors, is because it is easy to miss the second one. And that will prevent the computer from powering properly.

It's actually very easy to miss on this motherboard because it's almost hidden, and difficult to get to, when you have everything in there.

Yilduz,
Have you found a resolution? I too have this motherboard and have the exact same issue (no long beep, but 9 shorts ones and then resets). Of course my case didn't come with a speaker so I had to pull one from my old machine. I also pulled the power supply and had the same issue (the 9 beeps). Will have to call Tech support tomorrow and see what they can recommend before I box it up and ship back.

If you keep turning it on and off it will probably light on fire like what happened to every mobo I've had in the past with bad bios chips. So I'd suggest not doing that because it voids any warranties once a fire starts

I don't know what was causing the initial issue with no post. I may have had something done wrong - but now I'm having a slightly different issue. I took the psu out and tried with a different one to see if it might be the issue. I got a post error, 9 beeps. I took that psu out and put the other one I had back in. I got the 9 beeps again. Now with either psu, I get nine beeps. According the manual "1 long, 9 short" is "BIOS ROM error" but I'm not getting the 1 long beep. "Continuous short beeps" means "Power error" but I tried with 2 different PSUs and got the same issue. Also, both PSUs work in a different computer. Now, if I'm wrong and these are long beeps, then "Continuous long beeps" means "Graphics card not inserted properly" but that doesn't make any sense because I haven't even installed the video card yet. Also, as far as the continuous beeps thing goes, I don't know what they mean by "continuous," but it beeps nine times, then pauses, and beeps nine times again. This might be a stupid question, but is your motherboard mounted correctly? It should be on little mounts that raise it off the case. If it's not, you'll get a short and then computer won't boot properly. This happened to a friend of mine.

Issue has been resolved. I spoke with Tech Support, and for some reason, this board will not post properly without memory installed. Unfortunately, the memory I was installing was DDR2-533, but the board won't post with less than DDR2-800. So, I had to spend another $75 at a local store to get 2x1GB DDR2-800 @ 1.8v and the board booted and posted normally. I installed the swapped HDD and have been removing and installing/updating drivers all night.

Well, the specs of the memory that you had to purchase in order to get it to work match mine exactly, so I guess I was right to set up the replacement. Thank you for the update.

I'm having this very same problem with this Mobo. Did you ever get this fixed? What was the solution ?
Thanks.
