Yeah, at this time it is.
You can still join and see the forum, though. There's a button "Continue to site anyway"

Impressive. Even ProBoards had to start somewhere. It's way above me to create anything like this.

Are you paying people to do coding work for you? I can help convert it to cross-browser and XHTML, but I don't work for free (broke college student, eh).

Then you don't know your browsers. Chrome is one of THE best browsers that it out there. It has more standards compliancy than others. Furthermore, it's lighweight and simple. Of course, as you stated no reasons, your argument is infallible. Please, I'd like to hear your arguments for your statement about it being 'dookie'

Like Chrome, issues in both Firefox and Opera, two of the most standards compliant browsers as well. (Wrighty, is Chrome or Opera in the lead for compliance? I know IE is close to last.)

I've not tracked the recent most standards compliant browsers to be honest. However, wouldn't surprise me if it was Opera. Opera and Chrome I think are rather equal =/

I'm loving how the majority of people he sent the links to use Chrome (including myself), yet he claims it sucks. lul. Most importantly, cross-browser compliance is a must on any website, especially one that's meant to appeal to the masses (e.g. a message board system). Tell your users that they have to switch to a different browser than their personal preference to use your services will result in them not using your services. Anyway, I wish I had the patience to create a message board system.

I appreciate the effort you have put into your project, but really consider getting it audited if you are serious in making a community with it.
I decided to take a quick look, and in a matter of minutes I have found numerous vulnerabilities, some would lead me to taking over full control over the forum by hijacking the admin accounts. Along with possible SQL injection holes which I didn't really test any further as I wouldn't want to destroy any data.
I have removed my exploits, as I am not malicious.
Consider closing it to a private group for testing before going any further.

Well, this obviously isn't anywhere near reaching masses anytime soon.
And, we're having someone help make it cross-browser, so yay!
Also, Peter, It is pretty much a private group at this time. There's no advertising or anything going on, just simple invites such as this. All of our members are aware that it's very much still far back in development.
As for a "Community" this forum's goal isn't to raise members, as it will only be open for probably a year. It was originally intended as a place for a best friend and I to post ideas for an in-development game for a company that we work at, but it quickly grew to much more. Who knows, though, it might be a serious community.

If you judge it before you know it, Chuck Norris will hunt you down with a Google Chrome stamper thing and stamp you till you like it > Lol, I agree with Wrighty. It is way faster than IE 8.0, and somewhat faster than FF, though I am getting to like Firefox now, as I didn't like it before.
