Ok my site is this www.dragoviagraphics.proboards.comI'm really stumped when it comes to the background design problem im having. My images are stocked on photobucket. I have tried all ideas that are placed here on proboards, edited the image to extend, from where the extra cell is appearing on. I dont understand why its still doing that. Is there another graphic artist or designer out there that can hep me out? I'm really am stumped for what I can do. My resolutions can appear at 1024x600 (wxh) or 1024x768 http://s29./c292/RXB225/dragovia%20graphics%20site%20stuff/ ^thats the album my images are stored on.

I thought something was wrong with this order of these threads since your first post was a while ago. lol I'm not positive I understand what you don't like about it but I assume because it is tiling and it isn't seamless. I went ahead and made it seamless for you but it does change the look a bit but it still looks good. i53.tinypic.com/1zodd8i.jpgIf that isn't what you mean then you'll have to explain a bit more, hopefully, within the next year or so. ha, ha, ha.

thanks tumbleweed, can I ask you if you have the time is what is the process of making sure the tiling effect doesnt happen again in the future & so I dont have to ask again. I have been very patient in understanding this for sometime now. Thankyou for the graphic help you have done.

Well, in this case I took a very easy route because the design was a little too complex (and I was to lazy to take a close look) to do any other way. I simply used the free program Gimp to make it seamless. (Filters>>Map>>Make seamless) I don't have an easy answer for when you are intentionally designing a background to be seamless. Sometimes it is a matter of slicing it/cropping it in an exact place. Other times it is making sure whatever design you are adding is positioned to flow seamlessly. Since I use Xara the process is probably a little different than Photoshop but I just googled this and it is a pretty good tutorial on how to do this. I wish I could be more help but each design does need a unique approach.
