Why is it that 5 times out of 10, I (and many members of my board) will write up a post and hit reply and get logged out and taken back to the login page? It is VERY annoying!! How ca I fix this?? Thank you

Hi When you login, are you selecting the option 'forever'?

Hi When you login, are you selecting the option 'forever'? Yes, always. Even when I get logged out when trying to make a post, and it takes me to the login page it will do the same thing, even after I choose to stay logged in forever. It has sometimes done it to me in back-to-back posting attempts as well.

Has this coincided at all with the addition and/or change of a code?

Has this coincided at all with the addition and/or change of a code? No, it has not. It seems to be completely random....and just happened to me again 5 mins ago

Could you, from the main page of your forum, post a step by step direction of what you did so i can follow it. Also, what browser are you using?

What's your username on that forum? And when it shew you as logged out, did the date and time on the page appear correct?
One other thing. Could you check that the date and time [as well as year and AM/PM setting] on your PC is correct.

I am the board owner, so admin is my login name and the date always shows as correct on the login page after I am logged out and the date is also correct on my Mac.

You say the login page. What about the page which logs you out?

You say the login page. What about the page which logs you out? I will be on a page and typing a reply and when I hit post, it logs me right out and takes me to the login page that I posted above.

I know you mentioned that you use firefox and that you're unsure what other users are using, but have you tried using IE for a bit to see if the problem continues with the new browser?

My members who had this issue used IE8 one uses IE6. Okay, but I'm curious to know if it does it for you in IE, just to eliminate a possible cache issue
