Does anyone else find it rather ironic that the SA members of the original forum were the ones primarily spamming it with offensive content and now they're the ones running at least one of the forums shaqfu linked to? Odd, that. Almost as if it were planned...

And why not? I got spammed by malicious users (whoever they were) and so my board gets shut down? What's to stop the same malicious users from doing this again if I make a new board, or from doing it to other boards? It's not like my forum and its staff/users were consciously harboring objectionable material - we (apparently) got flooded during some Moderator downtime.

Point being: this isn't my fault, nor is it the fault of my staff. Why are we being penalized because someone else decided to be a jerk?

Question: Will the administration of the old board be able to retrieve the logged IPs of those who were in violation of the ToS? Forget pointing fingers, this is the information the new board will need to prevent this from happening again.
