I have a few images I want to give a transparent backround to. However, there previous backgrounds are WHITE. When I load them into Adobe Photoshop 7.0, I do not know how to give the image a transparent backround, let alone cut out the image i want.
I wasn't sure if this was the place to ask for advice on this or not, but I would appreciate some help with this.
Thank you in advance.

Can you link to an example of one of the images you are trying to remove the background from? I did write a tutorial once on how to remove the background of an image. If you'd like, you can see it here. The tutorial makes use of the pen tool.
