How do I change the layout?

So i've been looking around on the advertise your board section, and i've noticed that all the sites seem to have a different layout then the default. They all include a welcome, staff and chatbox on the left or right side in small boxes...

Can someone explain how to do this?

Hi,

Colors are an easy way to start modifying your board. All the colors together on your board make a "skin". To modify the colors, go to Admin > Skins/Forum Colors. Descriptions of each field are given to the right.

Additionally, many sites have certain codes to change the look for their forum. Search through the [codeindex] to find some you like.

You can also create banners and other images for your forum, or you can request them in the Graphic Design board here.
