Okay see im making a site and its an original fantasy site and I am not quite sure what the banner should be! The site plot is basically that there is kind of a war going on but it's not like a whole world war, and it takes place on a whole new planet like almost everything is original. There is three different alliances, the Aristocrats, Renegades, and Demagogues. Aristocrats are good but they are almost too good you know, its most of them have only good intentions but they aren't approaching it in the right way. The Renegades are middle ground, neutral. Demagogues are bad. Anyway there's so far only 5 different species. So I was thinking a sort of light on the horizon and a bunch of people standing but I just can't get it right. I won't deny that my photo manipulation skills aren't like super fantastic you know but they aren't horrible to the point where it burns your eyes or something. Here is my first attempt at the banner.

And though its okay, I know it's not something that people would be lining up for, cause despite how good a plot may or may not be, most people feel less enthusastic if the skin is horrible. So what can I do to change the banner? Im willing to totally start anew and im open to any type of constructive criticism! Even the harsh kind, I will not take offense to you telling me it sucks. So what can I do to change it? How would be a better way to portray the site? I will put up the site plot so maybe you can get a better feel for the main story line/theme. The plot is also open for constructive criticism, anyways any help will be very much appreciated.

It was year 1947 on planet Krypton. The planet was peaceful, the leading counsel ruled the planet fairly and the planet thrived. Most of the planet followed Gaho, the mother of their life. A few random people chose not to believe but they weren’t in the Leading Counsel. There was one who dared to follow Azazel, his name was Lucifer, he was a demon, and he prayed to Azazel for the fall of the Leading Counsel. Azazel answered his prayer and gave Lucifer the tools he needed to murder Galileo, the Leader in the Leading Counsel. He did so, but in doing so Lucifer was caught and sentenced to death by hanging. He had one sister, but no one knew about that because they were not anything alike. His twin was called Saraphina, she was human, and she followed Gaho to the farthest extent. When the counsel opened up saying that they were voting for a new Counsel member she signed up, she was one of two that signed up. It was between her and an Allegiant, people who have animal’s following them called angels. The counsel allowed the people of Krypton to vote, but despite her winning the major majority of the people’s votes the counsel took the alliegiant. Her loss created an uproar in the peaceful planet of Krypton, people were furious that she had not won, the Leading Counsel was no longer viewed with utmost respect.

The Humans, Demons, Elitists, Phib’s, and some Alliegents stopped following the Leading Counsel. Thus the peaceful planet of Krypton was devided into three Alliances. The Aristocrats who contain the Leading Counsel and all followers of them. The Demagogues, who are made up of the people who have turned evil. A lot of Demons, Elitists, Phib’s, and human’s turned angry at allegiant’s, so angry that they would stop at nothing to steal the Allegiant’s Angel. Then of course there were the Renegades. They are fairly neutral, but most of them feel that the Aristocrat’s were going to far in their quest for a peaceful world and they don’t believe that Allegiant’s were a “pure” race. Nor did they believe the Demagogues were a good side. So the peaceful planet Krypton is now in Year 01 AD, year number one after devastation. The war for control of the planet has only just begun and the result is indeterminable. What will you be? Whose side will you support?
