Well I'm assembling this skin on my testing board before I post it on my friends actual roleplaying site. The big thing is that I don't know what to do with the window colors. It's currently the color of the background, which is an off green, but I know it doesn't look right. I'm not sure if there is a code that could make it so that I could put pictures in there instead? or if that would even look good.... What do you think I should make it?

I wouldn't suggest adding any more images as that would be too overwhelming due to the fact that your headers are already images.
Have you considered soft creams? Thy would not look so out of place as the greens at the moment and complement the parchment-like background texture you have going on under the boards.
I would suggest something like #d9b479, #e0bd86 or #eccb95, but I wouldn't go any lighter than the last colour as you'd risk losing vibrancy.

i did try that type of coloring before - and tried it again after you suggested it (and still have it up atm) but it looks a little funny.
as for the picture, i was thinking of making it textured, if possible, to match the background - paper effect. OR if possible, make the window colors clear? not sure if thats able to be done.
I was also thinking of maybe trying to get a code to make window colors different for each category; to match the header/footer of specific category. Like green for the general category, a shade of blue for the creation category, etc.

Yup, you're right, even creams don't look right. What did you go an make such a layout for?! As for textures, I guess you could give it a shot, but I personally think it'll be an overkill considering you already have a texture as your background. What concerns transparent boards, there definitely used to be a transparency code around, at least years ago, try looking around the coding data bases, I bet you'll be able to find one. Not keen on your idea to introduce a bunch of different colours. You already have green and yellow-ish and black in your scheme, plus the colourful images, you don't want to overdo it.

Try using this site: colorschemedesigner.com/It helps me out a lot when I'm trying to work on color schemes and what not. Try entering the RGB as your base and see what it comes up with.
