Ok i have been wondering if i am good at graphics. i have just made 2 banners for 2 comletely different forums who wanted same effect

It appears these Sites enjoy the word Shattered. One obviously Transformers, the other DBZ. The 2nd one is quite difficult to see the background picture, it looks like someone tried to punch him in the face. Although I really do admire the first one,  |

They're not bad, but the same effects are used in both, so we don't really get a proper look at your graphic abilities. Also, the text is WAY too blended in with the rest of the banner. What are you using?
