New Skin

Hi,

This looks really beautiful - the only thing I would change would be to change the width of the c-box to the same width that the site has and put a space between the c-box and welcome table. Also maybe remove google search if you don't really need it.

Hello there

Thank you so much! I did as you suggested and took away the google search. I also fixed the width of the table with the cbox and updates (along with some other things ha). It does look much better now!

wow. =X not sure why this wasn't caught earlier. however, if you want opinions on your layout, please use this board: Get Opinions About Your Board, following the board rules, of course. If you were linking to a test site, I think that's allowed, but not if you're linking directly to your forum. =]

Thanks Kami I wasn't actually really looking for anything regarding the layout or forum in general, just the skin/banner/images themselves. I thought I read in the GOAYB that you had to ask about skin specifically else where. Sorry if I was wrong

hm, i guess it does say that in the rules. o-O odd, as far as i can remember in GDD we've asked for test forums only for skin design stuff. I'll bring this up to the other mods. for now, carry on. xD I'll get back to ya

Thanks damnedsalazar Honestly...lots of practice and failed skins haha! It's helpful to either to have photoshop or somebody experienced in it (or another graphics program). Also, there are TONS of awesome codes in the Code Database. It's helpful if you're a part of forums and see the different set ups that you like/dislike. Also, it's some times easiest to get a premade skin when first starting out, that way it gives you plenty of time to practice!

Anselm removed that (test boards/print screen usage) from the rules awhile back.
