Beautiful Tears

Before I put the border around forum code i thought it looked good, you know without the purplish border. When i put the border up though i didn't know what to think. It might just be me because i pay attention to detail too much when it comes to this sort of thing. Just thought i'd get someone else's oppinion.

I really like it! The colors work well together and it seems very anime/manga (I know nothing about that so pardon if I missed the boat, I just mean the general idea).

firstly, i love furuba. =]

Graphics-wise, the biggest issue i can see is that the banner is really fuzzy. i recommend finding higher quality scans to use in your banner. there also doesn't seem to be a focus -- there's just a bunch of characters. If you really want to use all of the characters, I recommend using something less ... disorganized. maybe character silhouettes, with the forum name over it? I don't know.

Thanks for the input. Oh and the banner is supposed to be like showing the major characters real big. i'll try and find better images though. thanks i was worried about the border clashing with all the softness.

but it's furuba. xD the 'major characters' are tohru, the 13 zodiac members, akito, uotani, and hanajima. =X

imho, you should limit it to what your plot will center around -- are you going to continue with the main story line and have it focus around yuki/tohru/shigure/kyou? or are you going to have the focus on other characters?

well it's going to focus on everyone. i wanted it so that each character got to tell their story like in the manga.

well, you could always have say, tohru as your focal point. the story, ultimately, is about her.
then you can have [smaller] kyou. then you can have [even smaller] the other supporting characters, in like, a photograph style, all behind tohru, so while they are there, they are ultimately contributing to the story of tohru-kun. =]

In my forum the plot is that the curse has resurfaced, affecting different people and Akito's not the god anymore, since she released the last Zodiacs. So really Tohru is just a supporting character in the story.

then i don't understand. =3 if it affects different people, why would you have the furuba characters as the banner? =3 mebbe instead you can use their zodiac forms, since it's about the zodiac curse, and not the plot of Fruits Basket?

oh yeah that's a good idea and i can keep the side graphics since it has to do with that

oh and why i had that banner is because there are new zodiacs and they are related :? I dunno haha. It was just pretty so I put it there. But two of the new zodiacs are close to tohru. One is her unborn child and another is Uo-chan's son.

sounds plausible, i suppose, though if the curse was released [it actually wasn't akito releasing them, but you can PM me on that] i don't understand how it would pass through the bloodline. =X buuuut that's just me, we can take this discussion to PM. haha. xD
