Yeah, read that in a tut. seems as I won't be able to do this until I have actual time/patience and a computer. I don't know much of PHP or other complex languages. So this will be a toughy, unless I paid someone who knows the language, but alas, no money for that either. So, how many of you made any apps? And was it easier than you thought? Or was it hard? I just wanna get the general idea. Would love to actually make my own app for my site.

Objective-C is pretty "noob friendly"; some would think you'd need to have previous knowledge of the C language before tackling it, but it actually works better if you go into Objective-C fresh. Cocoa Touch is pretty simple when using Xcode in OS X as it's mostly drag and drop, and you add lines here and there. Which reminds me, you'll need the Mac OS to develop applications for the iPhone / iPod *nod* And I'll scoot this over to the programming discussion

Well there goes that idea. Don't have a Mac, nor the money to get one, unless I can find one used somewhere. But I doubt it.

And you need to buy a $99 development kit from apple.

You don't have to have a mac anymore because you can now create iPhone apps with C# and mono.

Thanks! ;D once I get a computer I'll check it out! If I can make an app for iDirectory, it'd be easier for people who are mobile to advertise their sites even faster.
