Okay, so, I have Gimp (I have no money...) and I wanted to try my hand at making some graphics, or atleast a simple background, and I'm having issues saving it to where I can FIND it, or UPLOAD it or something...can anyone show me how to do that? I dunno if anything's different with Window's 7, but that's what I run with. xD

When you save a file, no matter what program, you should always be able to do a 'file, save as' option, and select where you are to save it to. =]

Save to the desktop, it is almost impossible to lose things there. I use both GIMP and Windows7, and I've had no such problem with either.

As a basic rule, if it worked on Vista, it's gonna work on 7. This isn't all encompassing, mind you, as there is probably some program somewhere that exists to prove me wrong but... just as a general rule, I wouldn't worry to much about compatibility. W7 is just a prettied up Vista anyway.
