www.taringa.net/posts/downloads/3087136/Photoshop---El-Post-Que-Se-Merece-2!-%5bMegapost%5d.html I wanted to download some of the brushes and pattern sets, in particular the lines (I'm trying to get diagonal lines now), but it won't let me download them because the file types aren't recognized. Can anyone please help me out? I'm still learning tons with PhotoShop, even if I have had it for almost six months now, =3.

I'm downloading it straight to the desktop, I think. When I click on one of the links to download, it comes up with the message asking if I would like to find what would work with the file type on the web. One of the file types I remember is abr, or something like that.

what are the exact files you're attempting to download? =] .abr is a photoshop brush file; you may want to try downloading any .abr's straight to the PS brush folder [C: >> Program Files >> Adobe >> Photoshop >> Presets >> Brushes].

They'll need to go in there, and in addition when you use Photoshop you'll need to go to the brush tool, click on the brush that's shown (Brush: then the brush and size underneath), then the small arrow in the top right of the box that pops out, then go down to Replace Brushes and choose the file though I think restarting Photoshop will also list it in that list from the same small arrow Hope I didn't confuse you there.

Thanks, =). I will give it a try tonight. I'm also going to start reading on digital painting tutorials, some of the artwork on dA is making me really inspired, lol. Maybe some of those brushes can come in handy. Thanks, I appreciate the help! =)
