The depth is certainly getting there though it does seem a bit flat in places, but the lighting isn't quite there yet - not sure where the focal is. Apart from that I do like it

Much love for this. Her face is perhaps a little sharp (been saying that a lot lately) but other than that I've got few criticisms. The circley bits perhaps detract from the focal a little and I'd maybe like to see a little bit of something in the black areas. Although on closer inspection that might just be cos of the brightness on my monitor. Smudging on the right is also maybe interrupting the flow a bit - it doesn't really have too much direction there. I likey a lot though.

i couldn't think of what to do with the right side in terms of smudging. >.<;; everything i did looked silly. =[ the circly bits i agree, but not so much on the sharpness. =X it was a huuuge stock, so shrinking it down really lowered the res, but i only sharpened once. =/

Oh you're disagreeing now are you? You've got a damn cheek :3 I just mean like if u look at her sleeve or line of her hand/face it's all gone very jaggy from the sharpen. So maybe you just need to mask off some of the bits where its overkill. What kind of sharpen are you using btw?

You could always use the sharpen tool, that way you sharpen exactly what you want. :]

not to bad maybe more grunge? and i love signatures to have borders (even though there not that important) just finishes it off.

hi kami, not diggin the super negativo spaces that frame the focal. Its fine to frame the focal with visually bland stuff, but having it just be straight black = vomity. otherwise, the smudge itself is nice altho i feel like you need to tone down the d.o.f. vibe you're going for. and i would avoid smudging stuff like her sleeve which is essentially part of the focus.

well i meant simply that they're just big splotches of nothing. xD not commenting on the fact that one big splotch of color is better than a different color. still a big splotch. lol if that makes any sense.
