How'd I do on these?

Okay, this first banner up isn't my first banner ever made, but I do think it's the prettiest and cleanest one no doubt due to its extreme simplicity. Although, it seems almost too plain. It's for my Soul Eater site, and I was just wondering if anyone would have any pointers or tips on how I could improve on it, without making the image seem too busy (if that makes any sense to anyone).

As for this banner, I really didn't do much to it at all, just some smudging here and some spots there. Anways, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this banner is appealing and if there might be anything I can do to improve upon it.

Those are some pretty big banners, not much effects in them but I like the text you've used.

I like the style, but the size is a bit... much. I really like how it's simple, not overly done or anything, but it still looks professional and neat. And being about Soul Eater is always a plus ;]]
